USDA announced $72.9 million has been awarded to 55 states and territories through the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program. Of that, over $1.3 million of funding went to projects in Minnesota, and over $3.3 million to North Dakota.
USDA Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says this marks over $1 billion invested to the specialty crop industry.
