The Biden Administration is being urged to take emergency action to deal with the supply chain crisis. A bipartisan group of 70 lawmakers has sent a letter to the White House, saying the U.S. reputation as a reliable exporter is being threatened. Recommendations include incentives for foreign shippers to carry U.S. exports and a temporary suspension of vehicle weight limits for truckers hauling containers.
