Bean Market News 2019 Summary
USDA has released the 2019 dry bean market news summary, which has the average dealer and grower bean prices for the past year broken down by state and bean class. Production and export numbers are also included. That document can be found here.
USDA Buys Beans
USDA has purchased dry edible beans for distribution to child nutrition and other related domestic food assistance programs. Included in the purchase are baby lima, blackeye, Great Northern, light red kidney and pinto beans for a total of more than $3.19 million. View the purchase.
