According to Statpub, Dry edible bean markets were largely unchanged on the week, with markets remaining uncertain about the overall yield potential of the U.S. crop. Despite some of the uncertainty creeping in however, the U.S. dry
edible bean price index was unchanged on the week, closing at 98.1. In comparison, the global pulse price increased two points on the week to finish at 102.2, with the Canadian index up 1.6 points higher at 102.2. The number of states reporting at least half of their crops are in good to excellent condition jumped from three to four, including Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wyoming. By contrast, over half the crop in North Dakota remains in poor to very poor condition.
