North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has declared a statewide emergency for spring flooding. All state agencies, including the National Guard, are on standby to provide resources. In addition, the Legislature will consider a $2 million plan for the natural disaster response. That’s on top of the $20 million in emergency snow removal grants signed into law last week.
