Red River Land Company Vice President John Botsford says land values in North Dakota and northern Minnesota are moving higher. “Since the start of the new year, we’ve seen more activity than normal. Higher quality land is standing out the most as compared to more marginal farmland.” Demand for farmland is driving rental rates higher, too. “There’s an unlimited demand for land. Anything that’s gone out publicly has skyrocketed.”
