The U.S. Dry Bean Council has launched the Crop Protection Action Coalition for Trade website. CPACT was launched last year and is funded by USDA’s Market Access Program. This website is a tool to track global activity related to the harmonization and use of sound science for tolerances of pesticides and herbicides. USDBC leads this effort and the U.S. Dry Pea and Lentil Council, and USA Rice are strategic partners in the effort. Other commodity groups are being recruited for this coalition.
Founded in 1976, Northarvest Bean Growers Association (NBGA) represents the largest group of dry bean farmers in America, working together to fund research, promote, and produce the finest beans in the world.

NBGA advocates for its 2,400+ farm families across MN & ND that grow dry beans and is committed to strengthening the relationship between growers, industry partners, and consumers across the world.
