Crop Progress Report – June 28, 2021

According to USDA’s Crop Progress Report, dry edible bean condition in North Dakota rated 38% very poor to poor and 16% good to excellent. Blooming was 2%, near 3% last year.
 
Topsoil moisture supplies in North Dakota rated 24% very short, 42% short, 33% adequate, and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 39% very short, 39% short, 22% adequate, and 0% surplus.
 
In Minnesota, dry beans were 12% blooming. Condition declined to 48% good to excellent, compared to the previous week’s 56%.
 
Topsoil moisture supplies in Minnesota were rated 28% very short, 47% short, 24% adequate and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies were rated 22% very short, 47% short, 30% adequate and 1% surplus.
