Dry Conditions Continue to Expand

Dry conditions continue to expand across Minnesota and South Dakota. According to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor, severe drought conditions are expanding in the northwestern part of Minnesota, across portions of Polk, Pennington, Red Lake, Norman, Mahnomen, Clearwater and Hubbard counties. North Dakota’s drought had a slight decline from the previous week, but all of the state is dry, with the majority in extreme or exceptional drought.
