ND Governor Grants COVID-19 Executive Orders

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum issued an executive order suspending the April 1 expiration date for commercial, public and private pesticide applicator certifications. This will continue for the duration of the coronavirus. Applicators and dealers certified through April 1 will have until the end of the public health emergency to take a refresher training to renew certificates. Information about an examination for those who need initial or new certification will be released Friday, April 17.

Additionally, winter-grade fuel can can sold until May 20. This executive order was warranted due to the state having an oversupply of winter-grade fuel due to travel restrictions and economic downturn caused by the coronavirus outbreak. The typical cutoff date for winter-grade fuel is April 1 in North Dakota.
