According to USDA’s Weekly Crop Progress report, dry bean harvest in North Dakota is at 61 percent. That is well behind 96 percent last year. In Minnesota, harvest increased from 62 to 68 percent complete. That is also behind 100 percent last year.
The dry bean and chickpea harvest in Montana is at 96 percent complete, compared to 93 percent last week. Washington farmers are 94 percent done with harvest and at 88 percent complete in Idaho. Dry bean harvest is at 87 percent done in Wyoming, 78 percent in Colorado, 90 percent in Nebraska and at 68 percent in Michigan.
