Harvest Progress – September 16

According to USDA’s Weekly Crop Progress report, dry bean harvest in North Dakota is at 13 percent, compared to eight percent last week. That is well behind 72 percent last year and 44 percent average. In Minnesota, harvest jumped from five to 12 percent complete, which is also behind 51 percent last year and 40 percent average.
 
The Idaho dry bean harvest is at 37 percent, increasing from 26 percent last week. In Oregon, harvest is at 45 percent and at 29 percent in Washington. The dry bean and chickpea harvest in Montana at 58 percent complete, compared to 52 percent last week. Dry beans harvest is at eight percent in both Wyoming and Colorado and 11 percent in Nebraska.
