According to USDA’s Weekly Crop Progress report, dry bean harvest in North Dakota is at eight percent. That is well behind 55 percent last year and 28 percent average. In Minnesota, harvest is at five percent, which is also behind 25 percent last year and 18 percent average.
The Idaho dry bean harvest is at 26 percent, compared to 22 percent last week. In Oregon, harvest is at 44 percent and at 17 percent in Washington. The dry bean and chickpea harvest in Montana at 52 percent complete, increasing from 30 percent last week. Dry beans harvest is at three percent in Colorado and two percent in Nebraska.
