The Gulfood was held in February 17-21 in Dubai. Being one of the largest international food trade shows in the world, the show is by far the single largest trade event in the major pulse markets of the Middle East and Southeast Asia. As a trade event, the show is directly behind Anuga and SIAL with 5,000 exhibitors and almost 100,000 trade visitors from 193 countries.
USDBC’s efforts at Gulfood generated the following:

- 125 buyer/seller meetings
- Estimated $950,000 value of on-site sales (all pulses)
- Estimated 12-month projected sales of $8,850,000 generated by contacts made at Gulfood 2019 (all pulses)
