There were 6.1 days suitable for fieldwork in North Dakota, according to USDA’s weekly crop progress report. Dry edible beans were at 92 percent planted, well ahead of 66 percent last year and the 86 percent average. Emergence was at 49 percent, also ahead of last year’s 24 percent, and near the 51 percent average.
