Minnesota Congressman Tom Emmer has introduced legislation to support workforce development in the agriculture sector. It creates a work-based agriculture training program within USDA’s Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program by funding apprenticeships and internships. Minnesota Senator Tina Smith introduced the same bill in the Upper Chamber.
