Created in 1976 as a cooperative joint effort between dry bean growers across North Dakota and Minnesota, NBGA’s farmer-led, nonprofit mission is to work together to fund research, promote and produce the finest beans in the world.
The “Northarvest” region (MN &ND) is the largest dry bean producing region in the United States, representing 58% of total production.
NBGA advocates for its 2,400+ farm families that grow dry beans and is committed to strengthening the relationship between growers, industry partners, and consumers across the world.
