Crop Progress – July 22
Dry bean blooming in North Dakota is at 68 percent, behind 80 percent last year and ahead of 63 percent average. According to the USDA Weekly Crop Progress report, 14 percent are setting pods. The crop is rating is at 76 percent good to excellent. In Minnesota, blooming is at 47 percent, compared to 66 percent last year and 67 percent average. The crop rating increased to 69 percent good to excellent.
