Harvest Progress

According to USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service, dry bean harvest in North Dakota is at 93 percent complete as of Sunday, compared to 91 percent the previous week. Progress is still ahead of 84 percent last year and 78 percent average.

In Minnesota, dry bean harvest is at 97 percent complete, up 3 percentage points from the previous week. That's ahead of the five-year average of 87 percent and 89 percent one year ago.

In other areas of the United States, the Michigan dry bean harvest is at 58 percent, which is behind 67 percent average and 74 percent one year ago. In Wyoming, harvest is at 92 percent complete, ahead of the average pace of 64 percent and 72 percent one year ago.

Harvest progress is at 95 percent in Idaho, 94 percent in Washington and 86 percent in Oregon. Ninety percent of the Montana crop is harvested, while 88 percent of the Colorado crop is harvested.
